3 Summer Soirees

BY Carly Bandy | June 29, 2018 | Feature Features

From yoga at dawn to the sounds of Ms. Swift, here's a trio of events sure to shine this season.

1. Daybreaker DC
Wake up; grab your yoga mat; and greet the dawn on July 6 with a rejuvenating fitness sesh followed by a dance party. Once you’ve shaken off the morning brain fog, snack on breakfast treats from Manitoba Harvest and distilled nonalcoholic spirits from Seedlip drinks. 6am, yoga and dance tickets $35, dance tickets only $25, National Building Museum, Penn Quarter

2. An Evening With Gourmet Symphony
Inspired by the historic first World’s Fair, the affair on July 8 revels in the crossroads of cultures with a night of fine cuisine and wine paired with elegant sounds. The orchestra is led by John Devlin, and the program includes works from composers who have immigrated to the United States. 5pm, tickets $225, Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building, National Mall

3. Taylor Swift Reputation Stadium Tour
Are you ready for it? July 10 and 11, the pop darling is back and better than ever with her tour named after her latest album. Call it what you want, but this is one of the hottest tickets of the summer. 7pm, VIP packages $469-$544, FedExField, Hyattsville, Md.
