It’s a way to bring the exquisite tastes of Aaron Silverman’s Rose’s Luxury, Pineapple & Pearls and Little Pearl into your abode, pleasing your guests with an even more exclusive twist on the establishments, where tables are a hot commodity and the cuisine is an art form. “Think of it like a pop-up restaurant experience,” says Silverman, who says the idea (it officially launched over the summer) stemmed out of his fondness for doing such events prior to opening Rose’s in 2013. “[Those] pop-ups were in my home. It was really exciting not only for me individually, but for those I invited. I’ve always wanted to go back to that.” Here, the team brings dishes, glassware, tableware, music—the works—and collaborates with the hosts to find out the vibe: “fun and playful or classic,” he says. Popular are the signature plates, like the lychee salad (a veteran of the first in-home iteration in Silverman’s Capitol Hill digs). But they do enjoy getting creative and also donate to the World Food Program USA for each meal made in a guest’s home—it’s one more way, says Silverman, to bring his clientele into Rose’s culinary fold. “Getting to host and interact with guests on a one-on-one basis in their homes... is so intimate and personal.” Rose’s Luxury experience $150 per person, Pineapple & Pearls experience $250 per person, both ideal for eight to 12 guests, customizations available.
