The Party
Reed Krakoff made the rounds in DC during a weekend that included a sartorial soiree at The Phillips Collection, followed by a luxe luncheon and fashion show at Saks Jandel. DC’s top-tier fashionistas first gathered at the modern art museum, where Krakoff was honored at the annual gala for his contributions to American art and design—and attendees raised an impressive $800,000 for The Phillips’ educational programs. The following day, he was feted once again at a fundraiser at Saks Jandel, where attendees were treated to a preview of Krakoff’s fall/winter 2014 collection.

The People
Krakoff’s star power attracted a who’s who of DC’s elite, including—at the gala—Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, IMF director Christine Lagarde and fellow honoree, The Phillips Collection trustee Linda Lichtenberg Kaplan. Sally Ein and Lindsay Ellenbogen hosted their power-player friends at Sunday’s brunch.

Best In Show
The intimate affair at The Phillips Collection gave way to some gold-lamé fun at the ’70s-themed afterparty. Guests retired to the historic Anderson House for some late-night fun featuring DJ Dirty Hands, who spun disco jams until the wee hours, while guests snacked on tie-dyed brownies. –Photos by Pepe Gomez and Daniel Swartz
