THE PARTY Up From Under, the charity organization founded by photographer Nicole Wolf, gathered Washingtonians to raise $25,000 in support of a rebuilding program in Haiti. THE PEOPLE New Reality International’s Laila Mickelwait flew in for the event, while Bryan Voltaggio, Mike Isabella, R.J. Cooper and Spike Gjerde cooked up a storm. Guests bid on the auction, with photography donated by local art stars and students in Haiti learning the craft. BEST IN SHOW The crowd was inspired by a video recounting Wolf’s 2010 journey to Haiti. Ribinson Cherisma Skyped in to talk about the nonprofit’s ongoing efforts to rebuild his home.
