The Party: Roughly 500 hungry Washingtonians gathered at The Hamilton Live to await the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington announce the finalists for the 2016 RAMMY Awards.

The People: Nominees include Blue Duck Tavern and Fiola Mare for Upscale Casual Brunch, and Fiola and Rasika for Service Program of the Year. Masseria’s Jemil Gadea is nominated for Pastry Chef of the Year.

Best in Show: New Restaurants of the Year finalists – Centrolina, Clarity, Convivial, Maketto and Masseria by Nicholas Stefanelli – served tasty dishes to invitees, and Cocktail Program of the Year finalists – 2 Birds 1 Stone, barmini by Jose Andres, Del Campo, Kapnos by Mike Isabella and Tico – poured drinks while The Hamilton Live provided background music. The winners will be announced at a black tie gala on June 12.
