The Party
It was a sea of country comfort as more than 200 guests dined and danced the night away at the Washington Area Concierge Association’s annual gala and awards show, which honors the best of the best in DC hospitality. This year’s Nashville theme turned the party into a real barn burner with guests feasting on fried chicken and grooving to a concert by rising Nashville star Amy Wilcox.

The People
The city’s top-notch concierges—including WACA President and The St. Regis lead concierge Leslie Valtin, The Mayflower Hotel Chief Concierge Azi Miri and Capella Hotel Chief Concierge/Lead Personal Assistant Luis Colmenares— mixed and mingled with colleagues and perused the over-the-top raffle prizes, which included everything from an overnight trip to New York City to a day of pampering at Bliss Spa.

Best in Show
Guests got a glimpse at what’s hot in the city right now during the awards ceremony with attractions like the International Spy Museum and The Phillips Collection taking home top honors. Even DC magazine got in on the act with an award for the best publication for celebrity sightings! -Photography by Tony Brown
