The Party
The buzz had been building for months as word got around that Dîner en Blanc—which is dubbed as the world’s largest dinner party—was finally coming to DC, and the highly anticipated event did not disappoint! More than 1,400 local lovers of food and fashion gathered at The Yards Park for a very sophisticated flash mob that featured an evening of dinner and dancing among fast friends.

The People
The sold-out event included a strict dress code of all white clothing. Guests got into the spirit by donning everything from simple white sundresses to wedding gowns to complex costumes (our fave was the homage to Marie Antoinette). Diners also got creative with ivory tables capes featuring bouquets of white flowers and fancy serving trays.

Best in Show
The event’s partner was Moët Ice Impérial—the first Champagne to be served with ice. The French bubbly was offered up at VIP tables—and partygoers posed in front of a custom-made Moët Champagne tower. Magnifique! -Photography by Weikerken Altema
