The Party
Although it was still frigid outside, Fashion Group International’s DC regional director, Aba Kwawu, hosted a holiday in St. Barth for her most fashion-forward friends. Surrounded by mannequins in bohemian dresses (We loved the nautical but nighttime-worthy striped, sequin-encrusted maxi dress!) and exotically crafted silk caftans, guests shopped the tropics-inspired apparel and home collection while indulging in Mumm Napa Champagne and macarons from Malmaison.

The People
FGI members and the District’s trendsetters, including the Corcoran Gallery’s Rachel Cothran, Fiola’s Maria Trabocchi and stylist Stara Pezeshkian cast the cold away by toasting the new shop—and indulging in the evening’s 10 percent discount!

Best in Show
The opening party for Georgetown’s newest boutique got guests excited for warmer weather—and summer vacation. The fabulous fashionistas chatted about upcoming sojourns while shopping for getaway essentials—with 10 percent of the night’s proceeds supporting the DC chapter of FGI. –Photos by John Robinson
