Danny Meyer brings his rooftop bar, Anchovy Social, to the Thompson Hotel Washington DC this winter.
Danny Meyer and his Union Square Hospitality Group are coming to DC for a sky-high debut. The restauratuer with the golden touch (Gramercy Tavern, The Modern, Maialino, among others) is opening an 8,000-square-foot 12th-floor rooftop bar, Anchovy Social, along with seafood-focused Maialino Mare, this winter at the Thompson Washington DC. Expect 360-degree views of the city and the Navy Yard waterfront. This is the first time Union Square Hospitality Group has opened a venture outside of New York City.
