Fantastic Frye

| February 2, 2016 | Parties

Despite a historic snowstorm, The Frye Company unveiled its latest location with a fabulous fete at Tysons Corner Center. THE PARTY With DC’s historic snowstorm just a few days in the rearview mirror, The Frye Company fans ventured out to Tysons Corner Center to welcome the iconic boot company’s newest DC-area store. Guests gathered to check out Frye’s latest collection of leather boots, wallets and other fashionable winter accessories while noshing on comfort food like mini hamburgers and chocolate chip cookies from Ridgewells Catering. THE PEOPLE Nearly 100 attendees turned out to toast Frye—including The Ritz-Carlton’s head concierge, Kristine Serne; Frye PR Director Marcella Withers; and The Washington Lobbyist blogger Michael Woestehoff—while DJ John Thornley of U.S. Royalty spun tunes.
BEST IN SHOW Guests got the chance to have their purchases monogrammed on-site by leather craftsmen Alfred Stadler of PioneerWorks and stayed warm on the winter night by sipping 10- and 12-year aged whiskey from Whistle Pig. What a perfect post-snowstorm party! Photography by Mohammed Sanoon
