Renowned baker Eric Kayser's Maison Kayser sweetly rolls into DC.
Maison Kayser will feature a new seasonal bread each month.

French baker-turned-entrepreneur Eric Kayser recently opened the traditional boulangerie Maison Kayser in two DC locations, Mount Vernon Triangle and Penn Quarter. These are the first stateside locations outside of New York City for the sweet spot, which was founded in Paris in 1996. Kayser, who has been baking since he was 15 (he’s a fifth-generation baker), uses traditional French baking methods for his one-of-a-kind breads and pastries. In addition to sweets like eclairs and tarts, look for new seasonal creations every month—including quinoa bread, apple-cider bread and Kalamata whole-wheat bread. 650 Massachusetts Ave. NW, 1345 F St. NW
