Laudable Ladies

THE PARTY It was a night of celebration at the Washington Design Center as friends, family and supporters of DC’s November issue’s Dynamic Women gathered to celebrate their accomplishments. The night began with a toast to the women of distinction before the party expanded to three floors, offering guests an opportunity to tour the new Washington Design Center. THE PEOPLE From doctors to designers, the Dynamic Women—including interior designer Marlene Alexander Weiss; Tina Leone, CEO of the Ballston Business Improvement District; and interior designer Marika Meyer—represented some of the best and brightest female leaders in the District. BEST IN SHOW Guests enjoyed tasty bites from Occasions Catering paired with pear-and-rosemary martinis by Absolut Elyx and Absolut Oak as they explored the stunning showrooms featured in the Dynamic Women photo shoot. To close out the festive evening, partygoers were treated to a distinct desert—handcrafted Nicecream, which wowed guests as it was made on the spot using liquid nitrogen.
