Midsummer Soiree

THE PARTY Food and lifestyle blog, Bitches Who Brunch, hosted a summer soiree to toast the best of the season in high style. Glamorous guests were treated to food and fun at The Gibson on 14th street, a prohibition style bar and lounge. On the menu was the freshest summer fare including vegetable tacos from Chaia, with variations like creamy kale and potato with poblano cream and charred green beans with queso fresco. There were also brightly colored macaroons from Olivia Macaron and a selection of specialty cocktails like the Summer with South Moon Under, a refreshing blend of cucumber, ginger, lime and bitter lemon. While sipping and savoring, guests shopped the latest summer styles from South Moon Under and received complimentary hair braiding from Logan 14 salon.

THE PEOPLE Trendsetters and tastemakers from around the city bonded over fashion and food. Blogger Sarah Collie, business pros Caroline Hodges and Emily Belson and Bitches Who Brunch co-founder Cori Sue Morris were a few of night’s notable guests.

BEST IN SHOW Beautiful blooms! At the end of the night, UrbanStems provided each guest with a lush bouquet of flowers in vibrant shades of orange and pink, perfect for the summer season. Party-goers also walked away with goodie bags filled with treats from Whisked!, Olivia Macaron and more.
