Oh, Man!

| May 2, 2014 | Parties National

The Party
Male call! DC magazine’s runway-ready friends came out to fete the dapper gentlemen—including Eric Burka of Streetsense, Jonas Singer of Union Kitchen, Rich Dinning of Tysons Galleria and Eric Hilton of Thievery Corporation—featured in the April issue with an evening of cocktails, custom suits and camera-ready fashions. It was a manly evening all around as guests sipped Peroni, Bulleit Bourbon and snacked on maple-glazed duck breasts from Occasions Caterers; browsed fashions by The Tailored Man; and enjoyed oyster shooters from Oysters XO served by roaming shuckers.

The People
The magazine’s Men of Style showed off their sartorial savvy: The Internet Association’s Michael Beckerman was spotted holding court outside The Tailored Man suite, while Greg O’Dell—who, as the head of Events DC, also served as a co-sponsor of the evening— sported Tom Ford shoes.

Best In Show
The Carnegie Library literally lit up the night with a custom Lite-Brite designed just for the occasion by local event company Evoke that let guests spell out their love for DC, while other partiers boogied on the impromptu dance floor to tunes from DJ Chaos. –Photos by Tony Brown and Pavlos Karalis
