THE PARTY Killing Lincoln, based on Bill O’Reilly’s book of the same name and narrated by actor Tom Hanks, had its world premiere at the NatGeo 17th Street headquarters. The flick, which set a ratings record for the cable network, is chockablock with Honest Abe trivia, including his trials and tribulations as president and insight into the first presidential assassination in U.S. history. THE PEOPLE Actors Josh Murray and Billy Campbell, who portrayed Lincoln, and director Adrian Moat walked the red carpet for the film’s debut. Soldiers from Walter Reed also attended the packed premiere and were honored for their military efforts. BEST IN SHOW Premiere-goers had the chance to shake hands with a President Lincoln impersonator while Washington Revels’ Roustabouts String Band performed Civil War-era music.
