A Rad Event

| May 6, 2016 | Parties

THE PARTY SHERBER+RAD boutique, the District’s go-to beauty destination, hosted an exclusive chic evening to celebrate the arrival of Tom Ford Beauty to their hand selected array of skincare products. Enrique Valentino, Makeup Artist in Residence and Boutique Director at SHERBER+RAD, took clients through a nuanced journey of the world of Tom Ford Private Blend Fragrance and Beauty while guests nibbled on fare from Ridgewells. Highlights included mini lobster rolls, cucumber cups of gazpacho and brioche croutons with fresh fig jam and Blanca Bianca cheese.

THE PEOPLE As an invite-only fete, Washingtonians marked their calendars for this one! Laith Alnouri of The Phillips Collection; Becca Glover Watkins, communications director for Senator Burr; and Timothy Lowery, commercial real estate executive in charge of the CityCenterDC were all in attendance.

BEST IN SHOW Rad cocktails! Guests toasted to the newest collection with a trio of hand-crafted cocktails designed by a team formerly of José Andres' barmini exclusively for SHERBER+RAD. The decadent cocktails were based on fragrance notes in Tom Ford's latest evocative scent, Soleil Blanc, and guests were led through the individual accords in Soleil Blanc as they paired with the liquid creations. Cocktails were dubbed Paradiso Punch, Gold Dust and Fire Lust - yum! As the first downtown DC destination for the Tom Ford collection, Drs. Noëlle Sherber and Ariel Rad launched the arrival of this collection in style!
