THE PARTY Web news hub, The Root, gathered power players in celebration of the third annual Root 100 list, which recognizes the top influential African Americans in the country. THE PEOPLE The honorees in attendance included BET’s Denmark West, founder of Black Girls Rock Beverly Bond, the White House’s Joshua Dubois and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
