Rooftopin' For A Cause

| June 3, 2016 | Parties

THE PARTY Up, up and away! A medley of drinks and merriment lay atop the Graham Georgetown as Room to Rebloom held its second annual Rebloom on the Roof cocktail fundraiser for survivors of domestic violence. The Observatory rooftop bar offered great views for a huge celebration. Guests nibbled on a few light bite treats and sipped on concoctions for a charity that’s making big changes.

Creative artistry joined forces to celebrate interior designs exterior impact when award-winning interior designer, Barry Dixon, and Emmy-winning journalist and news anchor, Will Thomas, co-hosted this event. TV personality Mary Amons made an appearance alongside designers Marika Meyer and Heather Safferstone. Lastly, the local boutique beauty Paige Speyer Shirk, owner of Wink DC, joined the crowd to sip and celebrate.

BEST IN SHOW Shhhh! The rooftop’s voices hushed as attendees paused to hear the silent auction’s winners. A lucky guest scored the best seat for her house with a signature Thos. Moser Continuous Arm Chair prize, while another guest received the picture-perfect gift – a Framebridge gift basket. Other guests dabbled in a delectable True Syrups gift basket, soared above and beyond the roof with Southwest Airlines tickets, and animated their walls with original artwork pieces.
