THE PARTY An opening reception kicked off the 32nd year of SELECT 2013, Washington Project for the Art’s annual art exhibition and gala. Guests perused the exhibit, which featured 125 works selected by a team of curators and the WPA’s board of directors. THE PEOPLE Among the aesthetically savvy crowd was Robin-Eve Jasper, president of the NoMa BID, who joined a host of District-area artists, curators and collectors. BEST IN SHOW The works featured in the show were auctioned off at the WPA’s gala in March to directly benefit the artists and will help keep WPA exhibits free for all. Photography by Kate Warren
