THE PARTY The Washington Performing Arts Society hosted and toasted the Vienna Philharmonic and Maestro Lorin Maazel as part of The Kennedy Center’s Music of Budapest, Prague and Vienna festival. THE PEOPLE Austrian Ambassador Hans Peter Manz attended, as did WPAS supporters Jon Sedmak and Reggie Van Lee, and the Washington National Opera’s president, Kenneth Feinberg. BEST IN SHOW Roger Whyte transformed the rooftop terrace into an Austrian castle from the turn of the 20th century. Photography by Jeremy Norwood
