The Party
It was a foodie-focused affair as co-host couples Winston Lord and fiancée Stephanie Cate, with Nationals player Ryan Zimmerman and wife Heather, welcomed their gourmand guests for an evening of four-star food from chefs and friends Mike Isabella of Graffiato and Victor Albisu of Del Campo, all in the name of raising funds for the Sips and Suppers chosen charity, DC Central Kitchen.

The People
The intimate affair welcomed a who’s who of young Washingtonians, including local artist Maggie O’Neill, whose DC-themed pop art graced the walls and was later purchased as part of the evening’s fundraising. Sips and Suppers raised $500,000 this year.

Best in Show
The real stars of the evening were, of course, the men behind the meal. Before dinner, guests were treated to a WhistlePig rye cocktail from Rammy Award-winning mixologist Trevor Frye of Dram & Grain. Meanwhile, Isabella and Albisu prepared a five-course meal including scallop ceviche, duck confit, and Iberico pork and calamari surf and turf, all paired with vino selections by Weygandt Wines.
