Thievery Steals Home

| August 26, 2011 | Parties

THE PARTY The kings of DC's indie music scene, Thievery Corporation, debuted their newest album, Culture of Fear, at the W Hotel. Rob Garza and Eric Hilton's label, ESL Music, and hipster website Brightest Young Things, brought out the group's funkiest fans. THE PEOPLE From arts aficionados to tech titans, DC turned out with Philippa Hughes, David Washington and Mark Ein topping the list. BEST IN SHOW Guests migrated across the hall to an impromptu post-concert bash on the rooftop at the W's POV. Lucky lingerers spotted actor Chevy Chase and chef Barton Seaver amidst the revelers.
