Well Suited

| December 5, 2012 | Parties National

The Party Premier New York men’s tailor Michael Andrews Bespoke has taken a second home in the nation’s capital. Under its eponymous leader, the MAB team of modern tailoring extraordinaires has been suiting the elite since 2006 and made a splash on the most recent season of USA Network’s White Collar. Michael Andrews, who spawned his company as the result of persistent sartorial disappointments, formally introduced himself to the District with a chic opening party that fit the “boy’s club” showroom, well, like a perfectly tailored suit. The People A navy-and-pinstripes-clad Andrews; his posh pup, Monty; and most of his NYC team welcomed a slew of suited supporters to their new Dupont Circle digs, where DJ Benjamin Chang spun long into the night. Best In ShowThe 17th Street brownstone, where Andrews spends his time when not in New York to do custom fittings in a library-styled office, features velvet-upholstered seating, a cozy fireplace and a fully stocked, complimentary bar for the store’s debonair coterie.
